Salon Policies

Good Hair Day is dedicated to providing a relaxing and professional environment. To ensure our guests have a pleasant experience. It is also our priority to keep us all safe and healthy. We have updated our policies and procedures to provide a clean and secure environment that seeks to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus and any other contagions. The terms of this update are as follows:

  • A pre-signed liability waiver is required upon each salon visit. -COVID-19 WAIVER
  • Pre-payment for services and products are required before entering the salon. A $5 Covid Care Surcharge will be included to each appointment. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. No Checks.
  • Walk-ins will not be accepted. All appointments must be made directly with the stylist or online.
  • New clients and clients with a history of cancellations or no shows must pay a security deposit to secure an appointment.
  • New clients may be required to schedule a virtual consultation prior to appointment.
  • Do not bring additional guests to appointments. One client per stylist.
  • Do not bring children to appointments who are not receiving services. Children must be of age to receive services without the presence of a parent or guardian.
  • No add-on services will be made if there is not sufficient time scheduled before the following appointment.
  • No waiting in the lobby area. Text your stylist when you have arrived and wait in your car until called or texted to enter for your appointment.
  • A face mask must be worn during the entire appointment. Temperature checks will be made prior to entering the salon.
  • Wash hands with soap and hot water for 20 seconds before being seated.
  • Limit your number of bags and purses when entering the building.
  • If wearing gloves, they must be switched out after every surface touch and hands still need to be washed for 20 seconds.
  • Do not bring food or beverages into the salon.
  • No shows, same day cancellations and appointments not canceled within 24 hours will be charged the full amount for services scheduled.Security deposits will not be refunded if the appointment is not canceled within 24 hours.
  • If you are interested in keeping the same appointment time on a reoccurring basis, standing appointments are available and highly recommended.
  • Call if you will be 5-10 minutes late. After 10 minutes, a $10 late fee will be applied to salon services.
  • Clients who are more than 25 minutes late may have to reschedule appointment and full amount of services will be charged.
  • If a client’s tardiness effects other appointments, he/she may have to wait for service to be completed or reschedule appointment. Any fees will still apply.
  • Please refrain from using cell phones and all other electronic devices while in the styling or shampoo chair. Good Hair Day will not be responsible for any damages.
  • Remove all necklaces, earrings or any form of jewelry prior to service to avoid loss and/or damage.
